So yes its true, were back on the ship a married couple.
The journey was good, and was nice to get back not too late :)
The days since we have arrived back on the ship have been spent trying to sort out all our stuff (Amy has boxes of goodness knows what!!!) and both trying to catch up with work. Amy because school starts this coming monday and Samuel because we are sailing soon and the stores need to be ready so stuff doesnt go everywhere!
So today has been a little more relaxed and we even have plans to play some games with our best friends on the ship tonight which will be nice since they leave soon :(
So we will be back blogging more soon, maybe some pics of our new cabin when its clean enough to show to the world :)

Who we are ...
Samuel & Amy Slennett
Since January 2009 (August 2008 for Amy), we have been living on the world's largest non-governmental hosptial ship, the Africa Mercy, working for Mercy Ships International. Mercy Ships seeks to bring hope and healing by providing free medical relief to the world's forgotten poor. This particular ship serves in West Africa.
Samuel is the Sales Manager and Amy is the 2nd/3rd grade teacher on board of the Africa Mercy, currently serving in Freetown, Sierra Leone.

As volunteers, we are required to raise our own funds for our time with Mercy Ships. These funds are used to pay our monthly crew fees (a mandatory fee each crew member pays for living expenses on the ship), health insurance, plane tickets, and personal costs.
